It is with great pleasure that we are able to offer the premiere issue of our quarterly newsletter to our Northern Hudson Valley JSEC members. Our hope is to further the value of your membership, beyond our educational meetings held throughout the year in Kingston, New York (the details of which you can always find posted on our website, www.ulsterjsec.org!) I would like to take a moment to thank each and every member of our first-rate Steering Committee. They include: Ron Stonitsch from the Department of Labor, Vic Kragh from the Office of Employment and Training, Ron Coons from Northeast Panel & Truss, Sylvia Murphy from JMC Marketing Communications & PR, Todd Martin and Margaret Herbert from Emergency One, Susan Sadler, Job Placement Consultant, Ric Dragon from Oxclove Communications, Christine Cox from Bessler Communications, Bob Hirsch from the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce and finally yours truly, Kirk Lawson, from River Radiology. It is truly an honor to work with such a fine crew of individuals, all volunteering their time to deliver JSEC’s services to the entire community. I would also like to thank Richard Grossi, from the Department of Labor in Albany, who coordinates all the state-wide JSEC chapters, and has been a wonderful resource for us locally.

And finally, thanks to each of you for being a member of our JSEC chapter. Together, we can help make Ulster County a wonderful place to work.
