Sylvia Murphy, Director of Operations, JMC Marketing Communications & PR

I learned about JSEC from a friend who invited me to attend the BUSINY seminar. The meeting was so informative and the people were great! One year later and many seminars later, I am still with the JSEC team and enjoy every moment.

My name is Sylvia Murphy and I am the Director of Operations at JMC Marketing Communications & PR. My responsibilities include overseeing financial, HR, facility and IT related issues. JMC is a full-service public relations and marketing communications agency that makes the clients’ goals its own.

With clients such as Honeywell, Invensys, Polymer Group, Inc and MajescoMastek, JMC offers marketing communications solutions for the real world. We are located in Kingston, NY and support the efforts of JSEC which brings the hot issues to the employers in the community. I’ve worked in a variety of fields managing and directing operations including industries such as insurance, travel and tourism and optical manufacturing.

My hobbies are mostly sports related. I love to ski, hike, road bike, mountain bike, rollerblade and work in the garden.
