A Welcome from our Chair

It is hard to believe that our 2006 “academic” year has come to a close. We hope you enjoyed this past year’s educational seminars. We had a total of 7 – our greatest number yet. With an average attendance of 50, we are happy to report that our mission is being served – providing cutting-edge education to the employers of the northern Hudson Valley.

We thank each and every one of our fine guest speakers – John Bagyi, Harriet Rifkin, Diane Lustenader, Gene Moncrief, Joel Greenwald and Francine Hill – for providing such fine and important presentations.

We have a terrific 2007 to look forward to, bringing back some of our most highly-rated speakers from years past, and adding a few new experienced and terrific individuals to join their ranks. We have focused on the topics for next year that you, our membership, have asked for. In addition to four 2-hour seminars, we will be offering two 4-hour workshops, so that we may offer topics that simply cannot be covered in a mere two hours.

And a special thanks again to our collaborative partners – the Department of Labor, the entire Red Carpet Services Team, the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce, the Mid-Hudson Valley Human Resource Association and UCDC.

And, last but not least, one more heartfelt thanks to each of our fine Steering Committee members.  You are an honor to work with.
