Employee
Retention
What You Can Do to Improve It
Tuesday, June 13, 2006
Guest Speaker: Diane Lustender
Want to know what makes employees keep coming to work every day
and loving it? This program will present highlights from recent
research on employee motivation and retention including both what
builds retention and what starts the “I’ve got to get
out of here” thought process. We’ll compare recent
research and trends to some of the traditional employee motivation
theories and have an opportunity to share successful practices
from attendees. We’ll discuss ways to improve retention,
including multi-cultural/multi-generational employees’ perspectives;
the effectiveness of “employer of choice” campaigns;
and low-cost/high-reward short-term and long-term strategies to
build employee engagement.
