Guest Speaker: Francine L.
Hill
Francine Hill is an Information Program Specialist with the Department
of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
(USCIS), Customer Assistance Office (CAO), Office of Business Liaison
(OBL). Francine Hill has worked in the federal government for 19
years. She worked at the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Marshals
Service, Protective Services Division as an Operations Analyst.
In 1995 she was introduced to immigration law and issues. Francine
acted as liaison between the U.S. Marshals Service and Legacy Immigration
and Naturalization Services to provide the appropriate immigration
documentation to Program Participants who were illegal aliens,
legal permanent residents and naturalized citizens.
In June 2003 Francine joined USCIS as an Information Program Specialist.
She currently provides guidance and assistance to USCIS clients
with complex or problem immigration case matters. As part of USCIS
outreach efforts Francine has represented the CAO as guest speaker
for several conferences and exhibits across the country. Francine
was featured in the latest version of USCIS PULSE Newsletter for
participation in Outreach services.

OBL primary function is to educate the U.S. public on immigration-related
employment, investment, and school issues. The OBL provides information
on the employment eligibility verification process, as well as
the opportunities available to employers to hire and/or “sponsor” foreign
workers in accordance with U.S. Government regulations administered
by a variety of federal agencies.
